Represents a Japanese culture and the vision mission of JLCC.

Branches:
Symbol of culture, which is dynamic and has history value

Pink Sun Rays:
Pink means love. Love that leads to family bonding. It represents spreading the love and bright to the future of the club.

Gold Japanese Torii (Gate):
Represents a Japanese culture and gold means prosperity, it means gate to the prosperity for our club.

Ground:
Burgundy colour means power (In Japanese: Chikara), a power to strengthen the bond between JLCC committees and community.

CLUB BACKGROUND

Established in 2012 which is 2012/2013 session.

Original name for this club was Japanese Culture Chapter which was later be changed to Japanese Cultural Club in the 2018/2019 session.

Under the auspices of Students Affairs Department (HEP) but is monitored by Arts and Culture Centre (PBS)
MISSION
We are committed to build a better understanding of Japanese language and culture through the active promotion of Japanese and international culture exchange.
VISION
Through the understanding and acquisition of Japanese language and culture through more meaningful and friendship between the people of Malaysia and Japan can be forged and perpetuated as it would help gain valuable and vital understanding on how the Japanese cultures which is the core competence in any effective heart-to-heart communication.

Provide a cultural and informative environment for all students of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) who are interested in Japanese culture.

Provide a platform for students to meet each other as well as share common interests and form new friendships.

Provide opportunities to learn the basics of Japanese Language for those students who are interested.
